SÁRA SCHMIDT
actor
She has appeared in numerous Hungarian and international films, as well as in theatre productions. She was a member of the Székesfehérvár Free Theatre Company. Between 2013 and 2016 he was a student at the Hungarian Theatre Academy in Pest, in the class of Ferenc Lengyel. Major productions: Egynyári kaland, Partizánok, A bűnösök kora, A tanár, Apatigris, Első kettő, Vienna Blood.
BÁLINT VIGH
director, writer
His first short film “Running Dreams” won the Best Short Film Award at the Tagore International Film Festival. His second short film, “Neurodance,” is currently in competition at film festivals. He has directed several music videos, including “Dennie Wander – Devil On My Shoulder”. He produced the award-winning short film “Progeny”, an English-Hungarian co-production. He has worked as assistant camera, editor and 1st assistant director on several Hungarian short films.
KRISZTIÁN MARÁCZI
director of photography
He has worked in the film industry for over a decade and a half as a director, cinematographer and electrician. He is the director and cinematographer of several video clips, including “Meteora – Slave of Creation”, which has over 100,000 views on YouTube. He produced the award-winning short film “Progeny”, an English-Hungarian co-production. He is currently working on his first feature length documentary.
BALÁZS PETHŐ
casting director
He has been involved in the casting process for over a hundred films, including the Oscar-winning “Son of Saul”. He is the writer and director of the short film “The Silence Outside”. Novelist, his first novel “The First Man of the Last Years” is available at several bookshop. He is currently working on his second novel.

What is the movie about?
Trapped in a web of toxic love relationships, Esther, as a last resort, is enrolled in a revolutionary therapy programme where she must confront her past grievances in a virtual reality built from memories, and find the real cause of her stuckness.
Why is this movie important?
This film highlights the importance of daring to know yourself. We invite the audience to a unique cinematic experience that is an inside-out journey into unknown spiritual and intellectual spaces.
How soon will it be ready?
We are currently in the pre-production phase, shooting the film in 2026 May and holding a private premiere in December 2026. After that, it will be shown at festivals for 1 year, then in cinemas and on streaming channels.
Where and when is the launch?
The premiere private screening is expected to take place in December 2026 in a cinema hall in Budapest. The exact date and location will be announced a few weeks in advance by email to all those who have purchased a sponsorship ticket. The film will be presented in Hungarian with English subtitles.
How can I support the film?

How much money do you want to raise?
To make the film, we need 100 million HUF (~250 000 EUR), including pre-production, shooting, post-production and promotion costs.
What do we spend the subsidies on?
The full amount of the grant will be paid to Rueda Pictures Kft., an independent film production company registered in Budapest, the producer of the film Konekt. We've been developing the screenplay for several years, and now a final version ready for filming has been completed.

The film is planned to be 90 minutes long.
