KONEKT’s support campaign has been launched!

Dear film fans!

What is Konekt?

Konekt is an independent Hungarian film, made by a community collaboration. The film’s budget comes from private donors, sponsors and independent producers. Our goal is to create a film that not only entertains, but also makes the audience think deeply and emotionally.

The story of Konekt explores a particular theme: the dynamics of modern human relationships, dealing with past traumas and the path to self-awareness. At the centre of the story, which explores the depths of the human psyche, is Esther, caught in a web of toxic love relationships. As a last resort, she undergoes a groundbreaking therapy programme where she must confront her past grievances in a virtual reality built from memories to find the real cause of her stuckness. The film explores questions such as: to what extent are we defined by our past experiences? Is real change possible? And can we face ourselves when all illusions have fallen away?

Why is your support important?
